The Eyniyyeh_Ode , one of Avicenna's allegorical and poetic works, is a philosophical piece that examines the relationship between the soul and the body and analyzes its various aspects. This work outlines three stages in the soul's journey toward perfection. The first stage focuses on the connection between the soul and the body, explaining the philosophical foundations of this bond. These foundations highlight the body's essential role as an instrument for the soul's initial activities in its journey toward perfection. The second stage addresses the dual nature of the body. On the one hand, the soul is inclined toward the body, distancing itself from the Gnostic school that devalues the body. On the other hand, due to the soul's intrinsic attraction to intellect, it perceives the body as a limiting factor and distanced from it. This duality illustrates the complex interaction between the soul and the body. The third stage pertains to the soul's detachment from the body and its ascension, symbolizing the soul's ultimate liberation from physical constraints and its attainment of absolute intellectual perfection. The present article aims to thoroughly examine each stage through analyzing its underlying philosophical principles. The research method employed is descriptive-analytical and is based on an interpretation of Avicenna's philosophical works.
