As a subject of education, man is always associated with reasoning and thinking, and thinking is one of the fundamental and inherent characteristics of man and his distinction from other creatures. One of the effective factors in education is cultivating and strengthening the power of reason; For this reason, rational education has been given serious attention in Islamic thought. The main goal of the current research is to explain the methods of rational education in the thought of Sinai. To achieve this goal, descriptive-analytical method was used. The research community includes Ibn Sina's works, from among which materials related to philosophical-educational foundations, rational education methods were purposefully selected. The findings indicated that the methods of rational education should be compatible with the goals and principles and guide the educators to choose the correct way of intellectual education, to enrich the levels of intellect until reaching the ultimate goal of intellectual education, which is nearness to God. These methods included the cultivation of creativity (creating a creative space), the cultivation of reasoning (game, argumentative conversation), question-based dialogue, participation seeking to curb emotional outbursts, intellectual intuition and the pious method, which were identified and explained. Applying the aforementioned methods can be effective in creating a platform and smoothing rational education in the educational system
