According to Avicenna's thoughts, establishing a family guarantees producing next generation, showing an apparent reason for proving God's existence, representing human dignity and training children, all of which lead to preserving religion. In Avicennian intellectual structure, human's dignity is the field of representing and showing human healthy relations which is based on intellect and affection, and training is considered as a second concept which is derived from it. Through emphasizing on preserving human's dignity, the necessity of being faithful to promises, intellection and affection, the existence of common sense in holding and breaking marriage contract and drawing a reasonable border for man, woman and children's duties, Avicenna tries to explain the importance of preserving the family center based on the most necessary intellectual and emotional requirements of human beings. In this way, defining the human's status in the universe, Avicenna analyzes the status of intellect in human's essence and the qualities of the element of affection in giving sense to the relations between people especially family members. Applying such method is under the influence of Avicenna's main approaches to human's life including: coordinating with inborn disposition, the function of philosophy through life, considering both reason and love, and the morality's authority. Combination of these approaches all together converts Avicenna's household management into a relatively acceptable selection of intellectual rules and emotional evidences for establishing a family.
