This supposition for this reason prevails among the historians of Islamic philosophical thought that Ibn Sina himself affirms in his autobiography that has repeatedly read the Metaphysics of Aristotele but has not understand it. But this understanding of Shaikh's autobiography-given Ibn Sina's genius and also by considering the brevity of Farabi's book – it seems susceptible to criticism. In this paper on the basis of proofs and evidences from other writings of Ibn Sina a new understanding of his autobiography is presented which differs from common understanding and it is shown that Ibn Sina's intention is not that he had difficulty in understanding the content of the Metaphysics but he has not been in agreement about the formulation of some commentaries of it. <strong> <em>همواره در  سنت فلسفی ما این تصور وجود داشته است که ابن ­سینا تنها با کمک کتاب فارابی </em></strong><strong><em>ـ</em></strong><strong><em>  که به بیان اغراض مابعدالطبیعه اختصاص داشت </em></strong><strong><em>ـ‌</em></strong><strong><em> موفق به فهم کتاب مابعدالطبیعه ارسطو شد. این تصور از آن جهت در میان مورخان اندیشه­ فلسفی اسلامی رواج دارد که خود ابن­ سینا در زندگی­نامه­ خودنوشتش تصریح می­ کند که بارها کتاب مابعدالطبیعه­ ارسطو را خوانده، ولی آن را نفهمیده است. این تلقی از زندگی­نامه­ شیخ </em></strong><strong><em>ـ</em></strong><strong><em>  با توجه به نبوغ ابن­ سینا و نیز با در نظر گرفتن اختصار کتاب فارابی </em></strong><strong><em>ـ</em></strong><strong><em> به نظر می­ رسد قابل نقد باشد. در این مقاله بر مبنای این دلائل و نیز شواهدی از دیگر آثار ابن­ سینا برداشت جدیدی از زندگی­نامه­ او ارائه می­ شود که با تصور رایج، برداشتی متفاوت دارد و نشان داده می­ شود که منطور شیخ آن نیست که در فهم محتوای مابعدالطبیعه مشکل داشته است، بلکه با صورت­بندی و برخی تفاسیر آن موافق نبوده است.</em></strong> https://ap.isu.ac.ir/article_43272_d9a4ab452be9aa656d10718c459c9cd5.pdf
